Famed Indian composer Dilshad Shaikh is to make the score music for Indo-Iranian flick 'The Devil's Daughter' by Ghorban Mohammadpour.
The film score music is scheduled to be ready in a two-week notice.
Dilshad Shaikh has in his resume shared projects with Iran cinema including score music for ‘Beyond the clouds’, ‘Muhammad (PBUH): The Messenger of God’ and ‘Salaam Mumbai’.
The flick is Mohammadpour’s second project in India after ‘Salaam Mumbai’ which grabbed a great deal of attention in Iran grossing 6 billion Rials (US$155,000) on opening day, surpassing the opening record of Asghar Farhadi’s Academy Award-winning film ‘The Salesman (2016)’.
'The Devil's Daughter' is also the second joint cinematic project between Iran and India after ‘Salaam Mumbai’.
The project will enjoy a collaboration of Iran and India artists in the cast with Jackie Shroff, Esha Gupta, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia and Hamid Farrokh-Nejad to be the most notable actors so far to appear in the flick.
The public screening has been scheduled for November 2018 with more details to come soon.
